How does LocalHub collect and use information about local businesses?

Even if you haven't personally added your business information to LocalHub, it may already be on the platform. Below we explain why this happens and where this information comes from.

Why do we collect information?

Our goal is to provide local residents and visitors to the community with the most complete and up-to-date information about services, entrepreneurs, craftsmen, and manufacturers in their city. To achieve this, LocalHub regularly updates data using various publicly available sources.

What sources do we use?

Public sources and public information, the distribution of which is not restricted by the legislation of Ukraine. According to the Law of Ukraine 'On Information', mass information is information intended for an unlimited circle of persons. That is, if the name of your company, field of activity, work schedule, contacts or other data are indicated on a sign, website, in advertising materials - LocalHub has the right to reproduce them.

  • Publicly available materials: official company website, storefronts, advertising flyers, price lists, etc.
  • Information from users: for example, addresses, phone numbers, photos, or reviews.
  • Data from business owners who independently verify and edit their pages.

If you want to change or delete data

If some information about your business is posted in error or for any other legitimate reason should be removed, you can submit a request via the LocalHub feedback form. We will definitely consider it.
